VILLA VELO

VILLA VELO est un projet porté par MolemBIKE et Labolobo dans le cadre du Contrat de Quartier Durable (CQD) « Villas de Ganshoren » (2024-2028).

During this period, our organizations are committed to promoting cycling mobility and access to bicycles within the SNC perimeter.

MolemBIKE is the lead partner, with the mission of setting up a participatory bike repair workshop and organizing cycling initiation activities (bike lessons for women).

Labolobo supports the mobility of senior residents — and people of all ages — through TUKTUKGanshoren, a social and intergenerational project for anyone needing help with their daily transport.

Cycling lessons for women

Learn to ride a bike or improve your skills — whether it's for the joy of a ride, for your health, or to use cycling as a daily means of transport! The courses and outings are specially designed to support women who are new to cycling and take place in the peaceful Villas neighborhood in Ganshoren — an ideal setting to learn and practice with confidence.

Registration is now open for the next course cycle, held on Wednesday mornings from September 10 to October 18, 2025.

TUKTUKGanshoren by Labolobo

TUKTUKGanshoren offers a social and alternative mobility service for people with reduced autonomy. Volunteers transport elderly people using colorful, electric tuk-tuks/rickshaws. They offer a wide range of services — from a leisurely bike ride or a medical appointment to a cultural outing or grocery shopping. But most importantly, this mode of transport provides isolated individuals with a way to stay connected to the world.
